Dr. Maria Z. Nolasco-Warden is the Chief Medical Officer at Empower “U”, Inc. Community Health Center (EUCHC). Dr. Nolasco-Warden received her B.S. from the University of Puerto Rico, her M.P.H from Florida International University, and her M.D. from Autonomous University Santo Domingo. Dr. Nolasco-Warden worked as the Chief Medical Physician at Centro Medicina Familiar in Puerto Rico before relocating to Miami becoming supervising doctor at Women’s Health Practice with the Miami- Dade County Health Department. After a 9 year career as a supervisor there, Dr. Nolasco-Warden accepted the position at EUCHC and has been here since 2013. Dr. Nolasco-Warden is honored to lead the medical staff providing quality healthcare to our diverse community.
Dr. Nolasco-Warden is an enthusiastic tennis fan and a team member of the first Breast Cancer Survivor Dragon Boating Team. Dr. Nolasco-Warden loves cooking her homemade Puerto Rican special delicacies, and has a smile and heart that warms every room she enters.

Naghmana Chughtai, ARNP is a Florida Licensed Family Medicine Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner and certified by American Academy of HIV Medicine for the treatment of HIV infection in adults and adolescents. Dr. Chughtai is an Educational Commission Foreign Medical Graduate (ECFMG) from Pakistan where she received her MBBS (MD) degree from Rawalpindi Medical College, Pakistan. Dr. Chughtai is a National Health Service Corp scholar and has been awarded multiple academic scholarships. She has fulfilled her two year contract with HRSA National Health Service Corp. Dr. Chughtai is a good Chess player, enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

Ms. Lucia Lopez was born in Chicago and raised in Miami. Ms. Lopez was born to Cuban parents, and was raised bilingual. Ms. Lopez works at Empower “U”, Inc. Community Health Center as a Physician Assistant. Ms. Lopez received her Masters in Medical Science from Wake Forest School of Medicine PA Program in Winston Salem. After graduation Ms. Lopez practiced for three years in Women’s Health at Wake Forest. Ms. Lopez passions are Obstetrical care, GYN conditions, family planning and education. Ms. Lopez received distinctions for her strength in teaching and has served as a National Health Scholar Recipient. Ms. Lopez has been published in the Journal of the Academy of Physician Assistants (JAAPA) in an article titled; Danger in The Transformation Zone: An Approach to Managing HPV-Associated Anal Dysplasia.
Ms. Lopez enjoys spending time with her dog, Onyx, and trying new cuisines. Ms. Lopez loves to cook and travel.
