Belita Wyatt, MSM, MPA, MHRM
Interim Chief Executive Officer




Miami, FL, March 5, 2018 - The Board of Directors of Empower "U" Community Health Center (EUCHC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Belita Wyatt, MSM, MPA, MHRM, as the Interim Chief Executive Officer. EUCHC is a Federally Qualified Community Health Center with facilities centrally located in the Liberty City community of Miami-Dade County. EUCHC provides targeted outreach and healthcare services to persons living with HIV/AIDS and other health care disparities.

Ms. Wyatt has previous experience in managing large organizations and program administration both private for profit, public corporations, and public healthcare, including serving as COO for Jessie Trice Community Health System. Ms. Wyatt arrived in Miami in 1987 after working for General Motors in Michigan and New York City. Her healthcare career in Miami began at JMH's North Dade Health Center, Women's Hospital Center and Human Resources, followed by a number of years with Florida Department of Health in Miami-Dade at Juanita Mann Health Center and TB Control and Prevention. Ms. Wyatt is also a Registered Dental Hygienist.

Her undergraduate degree in Human Resources Management is from Spring Arbor University in Spring Arbor, Michigan. Ms. Wyatt received her Master's Degree in Management from St. Thomas University. Additionally, she has Master's Degrees in Public Administration and Human Resources Management.

Ms. Wyatt is a member of the Sanctuary Choir at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church of Miami Gardens. For many years she was a member of the Society for Human Resources Management and the National Association of Public Administrators.

Ms. Wyatt is the mother of one daughter and two sons; grandmother to ten wonderful grandchildren.
